[tg_accordion title=”What are your typical tour sizes?” icon=”” close=”1″]Our tour sizes will vary according to the destination and if not mentioned otherwise will operate with a minimum of 10 people and in most cases the maximum is 40 travellers. The average tour size is 32 participants. If your preferred departure date has less than 10 people, we will put you on a waiting list and confirm your date once more people have indicated that they wish to travel in this group. If fewer than 10 people wish to travel, we will offer you an alternative travel date.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”Can pre or post tour accommodation be arranged?” icon=”” close=”1″]Yes we can assist you in arranging pre and post tour accommodation. However you need to inform us while making the reservation and before issuing of the air tickets. Informing after ticket issuance will result in airline penalties and surcharges.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”When should I book my tour?” icon=”” close=”1″]We suggest you to book with us as soon as you decide on the tour package in order to avoid the disappointment of not having to go on the preferred travel dates and in order to have enough time to obtain relevant visas and other travel pre requisites[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What are the general tour inclusions & exclusions?” icon=”” close=”1″]If not mentioned otherwise most of our standard packages includes the International airfares, airport transfers, hotel accommodation and tours specified. We will clearly mention Optional tour items that you needs to pay if you decide to take part in. In most instances the mandatory tour tipping is included and if not you’ll have to pay it upon the tour booking with us but we will clearly mention the amount. The Visas, Travel Insurance and any other items which is of extra in nature will not be included in the package.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What airlines do you use?” icon=”” close=”1″]The airlines we use depend on the destination. Most frequently we use Singapore airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Thai Airways, Cathay Pacific, Sri Lankan Airlines, Emirates, China Southern, Sichuan Airlines, Air China and China Eastern Airlines. We are unable to accommodate airline requests, however in certain circumstance we may accommodate such requests at a nominal fee.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What is the luggage allowance?” icon=”” close=”1″]The allocated luggage allowance is usually: 1 piece of carry-on luggage no more than 7kgs. 1 piece of checked luggage no more than 23kgs. Luggage allowances may differ depending on which airline you fly with, so it is always advised to check with the airline directly prior to departure.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What are the age groups of the tour participants?” icon=”” close=”1″]Our tour participants will vary in age. They can be from as young as infants travelling with their family to the elderly. Our travellers mix well together due to their shared interest in travel, cultural knowledge and their enthusiasm to explore different countries. However a reasonable estimate of average age would be 45-65 years with an increasing number of young professionals and family groups adding to the mix[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”If I am travelling by myself, do I need to pay a single supplement?” icon=”” close=”1″]If you are joining a group tour as a single traveller and choose to occupy a single room you will be required to pay the applicable single supplement cost. If you advise us at the time of booking that you would like to share a room with another member of the group, your request will be noted and we will do our very best to match you with a suitable travelling companion. However, if we are unsuccessful, you will be required to pay the single supplement at the time of balance payment.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What are the meals like on tour?” icon=”” close=”1″]Most of the meals on tour are a selection of authentic dishes of the country you are visiting. Breakfasts will usually consist of a selection of Western and Asian cuisines and lunches and dinners will include a number of dishes shared among a small group of people. With each meal 1 drink is usually included; however alcohol or additional beverages will need to be purchased.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What is the transport like of tour?” icon=”” close=”1″]Air-conditioned vehicles will be used during the tour. However the type of vehicle used will depend on the number of participants in the group.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What are the guides like on tour?” icon=”” close=”1″]We carefully select our guides to ensure that they are experienced and have extensive knowledge of the sites and cities in which they tour. They are locals with exceptional English and are friendly and helpful.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”Do I require a visa?” icon=”” close=”1″]Most of the destinations that we provide tours require all Australian and New Zealand passport holders to secure a valid visa. However obtaining visa may differ from destination to destination. If you are traveling to China we at Sinoluxur could arrange your visa for a nominal fee. For Sri Lanka you needs to obtain an ETA by visiting the site www.eta.gov.lk and Maldives is visa on arrival.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”Do I need travel insurance?” icon=”” close=”1″]We strongly recommend that all travellers invest in full coverage travel insurance and this can only be done prior to departure and in your country of origin. If you would like to apply for travel insurance through Sinoluxur Holidays, please indicate as such on your reservation form or contact our team immediately. If you wish to travel and are 65 years or older, you are required to obtain travel insurance and send evidence of this to Sinoluxur Holidays.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”Will I need any vaccinations?” icon=”” close=”1″]We suggest that you visit your doctor or travel clinic at least 8 weeks prior to departure. Your health professional will be able to give you the latest advice on vaccinations needed for the countries you will be visiting. It is the sole responsibility of the traveller to ensure they have the necessary vaccinations.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”Can I travel if I have a medical condition?” icon=”” close=”1″]If you have a medical condition that will require equipment or may affect your ability to perform some activities outlined on the tour itinerary, please inform us immediately. We hold the right to deny participation on tour to any passenger we feel may hinder or affect the experience of other travellers.[/tg_accordion]

[tg_accordion title=”What are the toilet facilities on tour?” icon=”” close=”1″]All of our hotels provide western style bathrooms and toilets. However the toilet facilities at restaurants and local tourist sites can vary and we would recommend that you always carry tissues, wet wipes and small bottles of disinfectant gel with you during the tour.[/tg_accordion]

HOW TO BOOK

Purchased through one of our partner merchants

• You need to submit our Reservation form together with the redemption code / the voucher
• Once submitted the reservation form we will acknowledge the receipt of the booking
• Within 7 days we will confirm the tour and if minimum numbers are not met we will take additional dates (maximum 21 days) and will confirm if not will offer alternative dates
• If not agree with the days we offer we will get the merchant to refund the money back

A direct Purchase

• Select the package you prefer and do the payment
• Submit the reservation form
• If a Hotel Package we will confirm within 48 hours and a tour package the procedure will be as above.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Passport

The travelers need to possess a valid passport and in most cases it needs to have at least 6 months validity period from the date of commencement of travel.

If passport is renewed or obtained a new passport it is the responsibility of the passenger to inform us so that we could get the records updated from our end as well.

It is mandatory the Airline booking is made with the name as it appears in the passport and it is the responsibility of the passenger to check and inform us any errors in the booking before we issue the air tickets. Even slight differences in the name may result in denied boarding by the airline as we at Sinoluxur holidays will not be liable / held responsible for such circumstances

While in tour it is the responsibility of the passengers to keep their passports in secure with them. The documents should not be handed over to a third party unless otherwise hotels require confirming the details of your hotel booking. In such cases it is the responsibility of the passengers to re take it from the said party.

Visa

Having a pre-arranged visa is necessary for most countries. In such instances we will provide the necessary documents require from our end to obtain your visa and it is your responsibility to submit these documents and obtain the visa.

For China Sinoluxur Holidays too can organize visa for a nominal fee however the granting of visa will be at the discretion of the issuing authorities and refuse to grant of visa, Sinoluxur holidays cannot be held responsible. In such scenarios if the refusal is made due to a reason which is beyond the control of the passenger / Sinoluxur Holidays will refund the amount paid by the passenger minus whatever the amounts that has to be paid to Airline and other affected parties.

For Sri Lanka applying visa is easy and needs to apply online.

Insurance

We always recommend obtaining a Travel Insurance. For a quote you can call us.

Airline Tickets

2 weeks before departure we will send you the Airline tickets and would suggest you to take couple of additional print outs and keep with you, which might be handy while on tour.

PRE – DEPARTURE CHECK LIST

• Recheck your itinerary and flight time
• Ensure you have valid photo identification
• Organize travel insurance
• If travelling to a foreign country, register travel and contact details with Travel, State and Govt.
• Reconfirm accommodation before you go
• Enquire with your doctor about recommended vaccinations & travel medication
• When traveling overseas make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months
• Notify the airline or travel operator of any special requirements that you may have
• Obtain some local currency
• Do some research on the destination, its customs and laws
• Pre-organize your carry on luggage and the checked luggage in order to meet the airline policy
• Double check you have all the necessary paperwork
